Shiroi Koibito
Shiroi Koibito is one of the most famous Japanese chocolate cookies only sold in Hokkaido and limited shops in Japan. This is the signature product of Ishiya Company in Sapporo, Hokkaido where they limit their products only to be sold in the area; therefore, people in Japan visiting Hokkaido often buy this cookie as souvenir. Shiroi Koibito translates to "White Lover" in English; as the name suggests, it uses white chocolate sandwiched in between butter biscuits. It is also called "Chocolat Blanc et Langue de Chat" as the package is written with this wording. This means "White Chocolate and filbert" in French.
I once brought these to my friends for a souvenir, and everyone just loved them. They kept asking me to get some more. Then I realized that there are no shops in the USA who sell this stuff.
